About Me

Angie McCauley Photo 3.png
Editing Bookshelf 3.jpg

I help writers communicate with readers clearly and effectively so their informative or prescriptive nonfiction books are ready for publishing, their business documents and presentations are ready to work for them, and their academic papers are ready for submission and acceptance. I especially enjoy working with education, parenting, business, technical, and Christian nonfiction subject matter.

Writing and teaching technical courses at IBM, homeschooling, serving on the board of a private Christian school, and doing various kinds of volunteer work have given me an excellent grounding in the logical thinking, clear communication, and attention to detail I use every day as an editor.

I work  in US, UK, and Canadian English using several style guides, such as The Chicago Manual of Style, APA 7, New Hart's Rules/Oxford, the Christian Writer's Manual of Style, and my clients' custom style guides.

I love to help writers eliminate issues that can distract readers, so their ideas can shine through. Let me handle the language issues so you can focus on your ideas.
